Thanks to two executive orders issued by Gov. Katie Hobbs, public schools across Arizona will now be inspected regularly to make sure they meet minimum standards to educate students and a committee will be formed to ensure schools have what they need to help protect students during a campus shooting.
Arizona Capitol Times tapped Danny Adelman to weigh in on the new standards and discusses how much needs to be done to ensure Arizona’s public schools are safe places suitable for learning, no matter where kids live in the state.
