On Monday, Governor Katie Hobbs signed House Bill 2559, which stops the State from using the federal benefits belonging to children in foster care as a funding source.

This will provide a crucial financial safety net for these kids when they start their new lives.

The Center is proud to have partnered with the Morris Institute of Justice and the Center for the Rights of Abused and Neglected Children in drafting the legislation, which will also protect the due process rights available to children in foster care.

The Center could not do this important work without your generous support.

Thank you for assuring we can continue to work to provide a just and equitable for all Arizonans, especially the most vulnerable.
